Project Overview

Kennedy House was a new build, replacement home with basement completed in 2012 in the rural village in the Chilterns, Oxfordshire. The architecture was by John Pardey Architects, with engineering by Barton Engineers.

The complex design was constructed with a steel frame, with timber infill. The design includes basement, green roof and a feature double height open staircase, the house has air-lux electronically operated triple glazed sliding doors. A ‘cantilever’ master bedroom suite, designed to give the impression of floating the structure is instead held in place with elegant external columns.
